Ashroy

Terms and Conditions

The terms that apply when you donate to, or apply for help through, Ashroy.

Last updated: Sep 30, 2026

Last updated: 30 September 2026

These terms apply to everyone who uses the Ashroy website, donates through it, or applies for help. Please read them carefully.

1. Donations

  • Donations are made by sending money directly to one of the payment accounts listed on the campaign page, then submitting the transaction details on our website.
  • A donation counts towards a campaign only after our staff have verified it against our account statement. Until then it is shown as pending.
  • Each transaction ID can be used only once. If we cannot match your payment, the donation will be marked as rejected and we will contact you.
  • You must provide accurate information. Submitting a transaction ID that is not yours, or that does not correspond to a real payment, is not allowed.

2. Refunds

Donations are generally not refundable once verified, because funds may already have been committed to aid. If you believe a donation was made in error — for example, a duplicate payment — please contact us promptly. Where a refund is approved, the donation will be reversed and removed from the campaign total.

3. How donations are used

Donations to a campaign are used for that campaign's purpose. If a campaign raises more than it needs, or can no longer be delivered as planned, remaining funds may be used for a closely related cause. Every disbursement is recorded and published on the campaign's transparency page.

4. Applying for help

  • You must provide true and complete information and genuine documents.
  • Only one open application is allowed per National ID at a time.
  • Submitting an application does not guarantee support. We review each application and may ask for more information, approve it, or reject it with a reason.
  • Applications containing false information or forged documents will be rejected and may be reported to the relevant authorities.

5. Accounts

If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity under your account.

6. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the website — for example, by attempting to access other people's data, interfering with its operation, or using it for fraud.

7. Limitation of liability

We work hard to keep campaign information accurate and to deliver aid as described, but we cannot guarantee specific outcomes. To the extent permitted by law, Ashroy is not liable for indirect losses arising from use of the website.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh.

9. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last changed. Continuing to use the website after a change means you accept the updated terms.
